the arrangement for congregations to use the first Saturday of each month to concentrate on starting Bible studies will be discontinued.
This, despite the staggering success rate.
is not on the public website yet, but here it is, full more changes:.

How delighted we are that so many of our children read well! Parents are to be commended for their loving efforts to help their children become good readers.
How revolutionary of JWs to stress the value of reading to their children. The rest of the world should seek to emulate them in the education of the young.
friends.. i'm sure you will all be encouraged by this nice story related to me by a brother in my old congregation.
4 year old "jana" (not her real name), is from a witness family in a middle sized city.
she has faced many challenges in her pre-school class.
When Jana was asked by the teacher how she felt about not taking part in the celebration she responded "Indeed it is not always easy to remain seperate from the world, but through my bible training which started in infancy, I have learned the difference between right and wrong. Birthdays are clearly condemned in God's word the bible. Although I am just a youth, the lessons i've learned by my loyal attendance at christian meetings has given me the gift of sound reasoning. Indeed, my adherance to christian principles may seem strange to others, but I realize that what is important is that I follow the direction of my heavenly father and the direction he provides through his Faithful and Discreet Slave Class on all matters. While this world and its desires is fleeting, my mind is firmly set on spritual matters with a view of life everlasting always in view. I have already dedicated my life to doing God's will and trust those whom He trusts and hope to symbolize this dedication by water baptism at the earliest possible time."
A 4 year old said all that, huh? *cough* bullshit.
thought id throw my hat in the ring:.
music videos.
they have always frowned on anyone making their own music but will now it will be encouraged.
Reality show like The Real World, where single JWs from differing backgrounds share a house, and personality conflicts sometimes arise.
If Jesus laid such emphasis on this method of preaching [going to people's homes]
What other method was there in the first century? I always found this argument puzzling to say the least. It should be about getting the message out as efficiently as possible. The method of doing so is irrelevant.
like most people reading this, i was convinced that by 2014 the new system would 'definitely' have been operating for at least a decade.
now that i know this is not going to be the case i am going to have to think of some way to recognise 100 years of wts let downs and failed predictions.
there is no point fretting over the past so i think it will be a good time to celebrate.
Working, then probably knock back a few beers while the Packers give the Vikings a thorough beatdown.
to me its a great example of a totalitarian government's ability to manage information and keep us in the dark; .
all right it was a long time ago.
should we just forget about it?.
We didn't land on the moon, either.
all thanks must go to my anonymous source.. .

What happened to the deep and powerfully insightful songs they used to write. Like the one that mentioned bees being molested.
an odd letter was read at last nights' meeting.
it was in regards to a special campaign for next year arranged by the governing body to go and preach in israel.
the call is going out to anybody that speaks hebrew and english.
Why should it matter if it's safe or not? What happened to Jehoober protecting its people?
Exactly. It wasn't safe in Nazi occupied Germany. It wasn't safe in Malawi. That didn't matter to the powers that be in WT-land.
here are a few of my wishful thoughts that, if came true, would make me enjoy my religion even more:.
no more end of month time reporting.. delete one of the 1-day circuit assemblies.
may replace with a 'special meeting', such as the one we had last year.. eliminate friday from the big convention.. no more international conventions!
The Bible, as all other religious books, will be according to the reader's interpretation.
This is their take on it, and that is what they will teach.
You really are dreaming. The GB will never, ever relinquish that much authority.
